    Your challenge:

Incontinence moisture can lead to painful skin breakdown or even infection.

    Solution:

Our thick, ultra-soft Shield Barrier Cream Cloths contain a skin protectant to seal out incontinence moisture. Unlike messy creams and lotions, our all-in-one cloths make sure you protect skin with each cleanup.

Shield Barrier Cream Cloths make it easy to protect skin from incontinence moisture that can lead to a condition that nurses call Incontinence-Associated Dermatitis, or IAD. IAD is inflammation or damage that can occur to the skin around the genital area after contact with urine or feces.2

Unlike other pastes and creams, each cloth contains our long-lasting dimethicone barrier cream, which goes on clear so you can monitor skin for signs of redness or irritation. The all-in-one cloths are gentle on skin, yet strong enough to stand up during cleanup.

    • Gentle, rinse-free cleansers help clean skin
    • Enriched with moisturizers to keep skin soft
    • 3% dimethicone barrier seals out wetness to treat and protect skin
    • Portable package

Our 3% dimethicone formula was proven equivalent to traditional tube barrier creams by Northwestern University's Department of Dermatology.3 Unlike those sticky, hard to remove creams, our dimethicone barrier dries and comes in a convenient cloth, not a tube.

I used your product when I was in the hospital and had a couple that I had not used and took them home. Your information was on the package and I was able to order more, thank goodness. These are top of the line cleansing wipes and I recommend them very highly.

I believe the packages contains 8 barrier cloths are better because they are in a re-sealable package. I’d the 3 packs re-sealed that would be a home run for you!

I learn about this product in a long hospital admission with my son. This wipes are amazing preventing skin break down. No longer have to spend money in creams that dont fix skin issues.

    Great product...lousy packaging!

    Rating:
    Pros:
    Cons:
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the wipes. They work as advertised and are better than Desitin or similar product. My issue is that they are packed three to a pack:

    1. As a care giver and a user of this product it is usual to use two wipes per occurrence leaving one wipe for next occurrence and necessitates the opening of another package. This creates more trash, more packages laying out and more packages to store. Whereas a package of a dozen or more reduces all aforementioned issues.

    2. Current packaging seems to be designed solely to inflate earnings especially for hospitals and nursing facilities. A resealable pack with a dozen or two would make more sense. It would reduce the storage issues brought about by dozens of packages.. Reduces staff work; negating the back and forth to replenish supplies and accounting/charting.

    3. Reduces environmental impact through reduced waste.

The Shield barrier cream cloths work great for at home. I learned of this product while in the hospital. If a person has a sore bottom from surgery or incontinence, this is what you need. It's very soft, cleans well and feels better than a plain wipe.

Spouse has used these for several years and finding them in stock has become more difficult; however, found more than I could ever afford in stock here on line. Also appreciate the item having a convenient accessible box for easy use instead of multiple packages just thrown in an extremely oversize box requiring the flaps be manipulated in order to access the back-stock each time a few packages are needed.

My mom has struggled with IAD for over 20 years and has tried so many products. But when our son began working for Stryker he suggested she try Comfort Shield. What a difference it has made for her! Totally healed and no more pain. Highly recommend this product!

I bought these to use on my mom's skin folds. They are AWESOME for that! Her skin cleared up in a day or two, and helps so much. These are so much better than messy first aid cream and tummy liners. The only thing I wish for is larger quantity and re-sealable packs.

I was introduced to the Shield Wipes while in the hospital being treated for radiation burns. They literally saved my butt! The lotion on them is so soothing. I love the size and thickness of the wipes as well. I immediately ordered some for my continued healing at home. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without them. I recommend these to anyone that has a senior member of their family to take care of. We are now using them on my 90 year old Aunt!

My husband was hospitalized in 2014 for a stroke. He was in and out of the hospital for some time. They used the barrier cream wipes so after we went home I started using them and have never stopped. I have found Stryker Home Care are the least costly and is a great product.

My husband (stroke patient with limited mobility) uses these wipes everyday. They are the largest, best quality, thickness and moist. You can't find any comparable in the store. We tried many different brands before coming across these and now we are on automatic shipment.

Love this product butI am very disappointed with the 3 pack

    Rating:
    Pros:
    • best feminine hygiene product
    Cons:
    • not enough product in package
This is the best product I've used for feminine hygiene. The only thing I have been disappointed in is the decrease in the amount of product per package. I started using Sage when it was 24 per pack & had a plastic box to keep it in. Then they went to 8 in the pack, now 3?! This isn't something I take with me and makes it more inconvenient for home use, plus the 8 pack were not as moist and would dry out. I would really like if you went back to the larger 24 per package. Thank you
